Gotta hand it to Von Karma, he has got that aura that makes him a really formidable opponent. The way each question can either make or break the case really keeps the viewer on edge. That ending makes you wonder how the next episode is gonna go, too!
I like how it was a mix of a little bit of comedy but it still leaned more on the deduction and court side. I personally do not like Karuma and I think it's a bit assertive and compelling but big cheers to Mayoi though. The end was such a cliffhanger for me.
The camerawork was not its best and the gags had choppy pacing. However, it managed to retain the essence of mystery well in this episode while exploring character growth of Mayoi and Mistrugi. Karuma's act of prosecution was as forceful and rude as it could have bring that takes Naruhodo's effort to wring back the momentum out of his hand.
