What a mysterious turn of events. The start of this was definitely captivating, and it captures the mystery perfectly, too. It was nice to see a different side of detective Gumshoe, too, in this episode. I also love Maya's character buildup with this episode. It was initially funny seeing her train, but you tend to come admire her after knowing her intentions.
The lore was quite good. It’s a bit dialogue heavy but really tackles deeply to the story. I’m kinda shocked and curious regarding Edgeworth’s father and Fey’s. And I think this case is going to be interesting and worth it. The end also piqued my interest and curiosity.
It's so good to see one of my favorite cases by seen animated. Mitsurugi's backstory and Mayoi's background being link to the mystery of the case allows the audience to be both emotionally invested and intrigue by the answer. The pacing was a bit choppy,
