"I believe in your innocence, even if you don't believe in it yourself, I'll prove it for you" is such a cute line from Phoenix. I like how this plunged from one case right into the next without any break, which really helps with the pacing and keeping the viewer engaged.
I got mixed emotions watching this. The twist is twisting!! I think this is one of the interesting cases that really hyped me up. Also, I like the build up of the characters and the pacing here was good for me. Each detail really amazed me too.
The mystery was ridiculous and conjectures was a giant leap but it was still a fun one that stays true to the Ace Attorney vibe. Getting to know more about Misturugi and his character is a treat, as well as the unexpected bond between him and Mayoi. Thus, the conclusion of the 1st-cour was satisfying.
