The atmosphere in this episode is heartwarming. Also, really love the positive vibe that radiates from this episode. The appearance of new characters makes this series even more interesting. Besides that, Kouki and Sae is getting more adorable.

I really enjoyed this episode because it had so many entertaining moments between Sae and Kouki. Their interactions were so sweet and wholesome to watch. This episode also introduced the other main characters, and Mio is already my favorite because of what she would say every time she would be on screen.

The characters are introduced in a distinctive way. The mood and atmosphere are perfectly suited to the teen romance genre. Kamishiro is such a gentleman here🫠 The soundtrack is also spot on and lovely. There are even some valuable life lessons to be learned from the narration.

Episode Context

Coming off a premiere that re-established Sae and Kouki's connection, episode two shifts from setup to the real work of exploring what their rekindled friendship actually looks like day to day. It's early-season foundation-laying, introducing emotional fault lines and a key supporting character in Yushin that will likely become significant as the 12-episode run progresses. With ten episodes still ahead, this is the show planting seeds for the romantic and interpersonal complications to come.
