I'd say the episode was chill. Also the new character would be an addition to the chaos we are currently having and I really mean it in a good way! She looked like that one character in Eromanga Sensei Anime! Does it have anything to do with that anime? Maybe an easter egg?

What I liked most about this episode was the group's natural conversation. There was no drama and no heavy scenes. It felt just like listening to friends with shared interests chatting away, making it very light and enjoyable to watch.

Episode Context

Sitting at the one-third mark of this 12-episode season, Episode 4 pivots from Episode 3's research-trip antics back to the professional and interpersonal core of the series, introducing Ashley as a recurring presence who enriches the group dynamic going forward. It deepens the show's exploration of creative careers and adult friendships that the early episodes established. This foundation sets the stage for the mid-season stretch, where relationship tensions and career stakes are expected to escalate.
