Wow, the anime's pacing is insanely fast! In just one episode, they showed us how the ninja girl gets to the city, where she used to live, and what she did, plus what happens with this assassin/student living a double life and how they both start working together—all in a single episode, lol. This first episode flew by for me! The animation and style were super colorful and full of movement; you can definitely tell it's a fairly recent anime.

I didn't have much expectation for this, but damn, this is FIRE! The story is funny as heck and surprisingly pretty savage. I can't stop laughing at how cold-blooded these two are! The craftsmanship, though, is what surprised me the most. The art is okay. It's not the best, but it's cute enough. The animation, though, is amazing! I'm just mesmerized by how clean the animation was during Satoko's ninjutsu scene. The direction and camera work there were simply top-notch.

Me parece un gran inicio la animación es muy bonita pero la historia la siento muy simple, pero este anime es muy fácil de que te enamores de el por la comedia

Episode Context

Shaft kicks off this comedy series with a premise that sells itself: a high school assassin and a runaway ninja end up crossing paths. The premiere introduces Konoha Koga, whose deadpan assassin cool clashes perfectly with Satoko Kusagakure's more earnest, fish-out-of-water ninja energy. Expect sharp comedic timing built on that personality gap, one girl is calculated and unflinching, the other is wide-eyed and reactive. The episode prioritizes establishing their dynamic over heavy plot, leaning into absurdist humor and snappy exchanges rather than action setpieces. Shaft's visual quirks should complement the comedic beats well, giving the show a distinct identity from the jump. If you're looking for a lightweight odd-couple comedy with a dangerous-girls twist, this opener sets the table efficiently and with charm.
