Episode Context

After Episode 1 established the misanthropic teacher and his demi-human classroom, this second outing pivots from setup to individual character exploration, a pattern likely to define much of the 13-episode run. By foregrounding Kyouka and Isaki's personal struggles early, it lays the emotional groundwork for the class dynamics and character growth arcs that subsequent episodes will build upon. Expect the series to continue rotating focus among students while deepening their relationship with Hitoma.
