They took a comedic approach to a hunter hunting them. Entire sequence this episode felt funky. But doesn't really progress the story anywhere. Not much emotional infused as well. Theres a dog who just lost its owner for god sake.
Nero keeps shifting how he acts, which makes it hard to predict him, and that adds a lot to every interaction. Corteo feels more steady in comparison, but it only highlights how unstable things are around them. The mood stays tense without needing big moments.
Every conversation, every action connects to another story. Besides the MC, the other characters are also being built up, and the adventure truly begins here. A little flashback also gives us a glimpse of what drives the MC forward and also have a little comedy
