Emotionally heavy episode. It really dives into identity and purpose. Not much action, but it’s one of the strongest writing-wise.

Episode Context

Sitting at the three-quarter mark of Part 2, episode 9 follows the squad reckoning with harsh mission realities in 'Stay This Way Forever' and pushes the personal stakes to a breaking point. This is the emotional fulcrum of the back half. Shinei's internal struggles and the squad's interpersonal tensions reach critical mass here. It directly sets the stage for 'All That's Left,' which deals with the fallout, making this a must-watch pivot before the final stretch.
