Episode Context

As the concluding episode of the original 3x3 Eyes OVA, 'Straying' follows 'Sacrifice' and the mounting conflicts that pushed Yakumo and Pai to their limits. This episode functions as both a payoff for the series' central tensions and a transitional chapter, laying the groundwork for the continuation found in 3x3 Eyes: Seima Densetsu. It closes one chapter of their journey while signaling that the larger story is far from finished.
