EPISODE REVIEWS

Everyone starts thinking about their future in cosplay and it gets surprisingly heartfelt.

Episode 22 perfectly maximum romantic tension, pure convention joy, and a mysterious new character dropping ominous hints right before the finale. Also Okumura in cosplay is something I didn't know I needed but now I can't live without.

Episode Context

Coming off the previous episode's deeper dive into Masamune's personal growth and self-identity, episode 22 pivots to spotlight his evolving relationship with Ririsa, rebalancing the emotional focus heading into the final stretch. As the penultimate arc of a 24-episode season, this installment serves as connective tissue, consolidating character development while positioning the remaining two episodes for a meaningful payoff. The stage is being set for the series to close out the bonds and themes it has cultivated across the full run.
