The shift in tone and direction this episode is a welcome change, in my opinion. This is probably my favorite episode so far, and I already find Ochi and Subaru a lot more likable than most of the main cast.

An intense and strong opening. We get to see another school's perspective and match. Good lore to make the story easier to understand. This episode is a mixture of emotional and fun storytelling. Interesting ending. I can't wait for the next episode.
