With her determination and passion, Konoha has an incredible amount of potential. I have to give her credit for the way she handled the situation with Mamoru. While she was a bit pushy at times, her reasoning was understandable, and it came from a genuine desire to help him move forward.The message is pretty clear: you're allowed to love the things you hold dear to you, but that shouldn't become the reason for holding you back.
The time jump to 1996 introduces some really great conflict. If you've ever had that one stubborn friend who refuses to upgrade their gaming rig because of loyalty, you will relate to this so hard. It highlights the clash between holding onto the tech you love and the inevitable march of progress.
Now this is building up again, the best episode so far! Shifting the focus to Yamada was a smart move. The breakdown of the sound cards and sound chips is amazing and the emotional payoff at the final track is wonderful.
