This was such a refreshing episode. Seeing the Spiders appear in this arc was honestly surprising. I really liked the flow despite the slower pacing. It was basically vicious humans versus vicious creatures, so I couldn't even feel much tension. T^T Feitan and the others looked like they were just having fun.

Not Zazan's group choosing the worst possible place to take over. 😭 I don't even know if this fight was worth it or just completely ridiculous. Still, I loved seeing more of the Spiders' abilities. Yorknew never really gave them enough time to show everything they could do.

This episode was good and refreshing because it shifted the focus to a different perspective within the arc. I kinda missed the Phantom Troupe, so seeing them take center stage here was really interesting and entertaining.

Episode Context

The Phantom Troupe takes center stage as the action pivots away from the main cast and toward one of Hunter x Hunter's most compelling ensembles. This episode channels a raw, territorial energy as the Troupe returns to Meteor City, their lawless birthplace, now under siege by a dangerous new threat. Expect sharp combat sequences and strategic confrontations that showcase individual Troupe members' abilities in ways the series hasn't explored before. The tone is intense and gritty, leaning into the group's ruthless efficiency while also revealing surprising layers of loyalty and protectiveness. Madhouse delivers dynamic animation during the battle set pieces. For fans who've been waiting to see the Troupe operate as a unit against a worthy adversary, this episode rewards that patience with high-stakes action and meaningful character moments.
