Following the earth-shattering cliffhanger of the previous episode, "Revelation" deals with the immediate, visceral fallout of Aqua’s decision to leak his and Ruby’s parentage. The episode is a masterclass in tension, as the narrative focus shifts from the internal industry struggle to a global media frenzy. Doga Kobo uses a "shaky-cam" documentary style for many of the street-level scenes, effectively conveying the invasive nature of the public’s obsession. The episode opens with a montage of news reports, variety show panels, and social media feeds, all centered on one name: Ai Hoshino. The core of the episode, however, is the catastrophic breakdown of the relationship between the Hoshino twins. In a chilling scene set in their apartment, Ruby confronts Aqua. The visual contrast is stark; Ruby, surrounded by the "black stars" of her burgeoning malice, looks down at Aqua, who remains unnervingly calm. Her accusation that he "sold their mother’s soul" for the sake of a fading actress is the most cutting dialogue of the season. Aqua’s silence is not one of guilt, but of cold, calculated resolve. This episode perfectly captures the irony of their situation: Aqua has saved Kana Arima’s career at the cost of his sister’s trust and his own anonymity.
