I think the core has something to do with behind-the-scene struggles of becoming an idol group. Them, in a zombie state, is like a reflection of how real-life idols have been managed. They're known to follow rules. You'll also notice that the catchphrase from the start is prison.

An endearing early performance that embraces imperfection. Perfectly awkward in an awkwardly perfect way. Sakura starts showing signs of leadership despite the chaos unfolding all around her - in no small part thanks to Kotaro's chaotic direction.

After Episode 1's shock-value premise reveal and Episode 2's legendary death metal rap battle, Episode 3 is the first real step toward Franchouchou becoming a functioning idol group, this is the foundation episode. It transitions the series from pure comedic chaos into a structure where character dynamics and group cohesion start to matter.
