Around this point, the story shifted gears and the focus moved more toward Amagi Corp, which added a darker tone. The writing carried a lot of this and it mostly worked. The pacing was fast, maybe a bit too fast if you have not been paying close attention. The tone remained consistently dark. Not a great place to start, but it felt important if you were watching in order.
