Though the pacing had grown on me and I like how they all have fun in different ways each episode, the writing is starting to annoy me.

Specifically, the way they've been writing Akari. Is she really part of the main cast, or is she just some punchline? A comedic relief? I'm having war flashbacks when it was Nico Yazawa who kept getting sidelined, and I'm seeing it all over again here. Even if it's more of a moe, cutesy side, it's really getting on my nerves now.

I was really looking forward to Akari's story, too, but they just had to end it that way.
