Episode Context

Sitting at episode 41 of 50, this lands squarely in the World Cake Grand Prix arc that kicked off with Team Ichigo's arrival in Paris in Episode 40, escalating the international competition stakes significantly. The introduction of Ricardo and his team establishes a key rivalry that will carry through the next stretch of episodes. It directly sets the table for Episode 42's 'Gelato of Happiness,' where the competitive consequences of this encounter are likely to unfold.
