The truth is finally coming out! This episode is getting even more incredible as it goes… I’m absolutely loving it! I can’t help but wonder what else is going to happen next? 😯 It turns out what happened back then was so heartbreaking—all those fierce battles, those terrible, earth-shaking events, how it all started… and how they were slowly, gradually brought down little by little. It honestly hurts so much to see that. 💔
The Hero Annals are essentially the Silmarillion of Yuki Yuna an origin story that gives depth to the world and its characters . The violence is brutal and unflinching, and the emotional weight of the original heroes' story is heavy. And Chikage's breakdown at her first combat experience is a reminder that these are still middle school girls being forced to fight.
The first heroes reminds me of the current heroes. I also feel sad for them since they are the first to go under this type of job. That scene of them fighting the vertex was just tragic.
