This episode is the payoff for Episode 4. You don't go through all that torture in the desert for nothing. Yugo earned Ali's trust. Now he has to use it. And the fact that Ali actually listens, that's huge. The warlord is someone who doesn't trust easily. But he trusted Yugo. That's the whole point of this episode.
