Episode Context

Coming off Kurama's encounter with Gourmet, Episode 85 escalates the Chapter Black Saga by throwing Yusuke directly into combat with Sensui, the arc's central antagonist and former Spirit Detective. Sitting at episode 85 of 112, this is deep into the series' most thematically ambitious arc, and this confrontation sets the stage for the saga's climactic developments. The ideological battle between Yusuke and Sensui established here will ripple through the remaining episodes of the arc.
