Episode 21 serves as the climax and resolution of the Four Saint Beasts Arc, paying off the escalating tension from episodes like 'Seven Ways to Die' where Yusuke and his team fought through increasingly dangerous opponents. This is a definitive capstone, the final confrontation with Suzaku that determines the fate of Yusuke's mission and the people he's protecting. The next episode, 'Lamenting Beauty,' transitions the series into new territory, making this the last stop before the show shifts gears.
