Episode Context

Sitting at episode 37 of 224, this is deep into the Duelist Kingdom arc's climactic stretch, the final confrontation between Yugi and the tournament's mastermind, Pegasus. The previous episodes established Yugi's struggle against Pegasus's mind-reading Millennium Eye and his early attempts to counter it, while this third chapter pushes that conflict further toward its resolution. What happens here directly sets the stage for the duel's conclusion and the arc's endgame payoff.
