Episode Context

Sitting at episode 145 of 224, this marks the definitive launch point of the anime-original 'Waking the Dragons' arc, following the quieter farewell episodes 'One for the Road' and 'Looking Back and Moving Ahead' that wrapped up the Battle City saga. It transitions the series from a period of reflection into an entirely new conflict with fresh antagonists and escalating global stakes. Everything introduced here, the new villain, the mysterious phenomena, serves as the foundation for a lengthy filler arc that will dominate the next stretch of episodes.
