Man, this episode feels heavy in the best way. The pacing steadily builds anxiety before the competition, and the darker visuals really sell Kousei’s mental spiral. Tone swings between pressure and vulnerability hard. The rival setup was great too.

This ep hit pretty hard. Kousei keeps remembering painful moments with his mom and starts to feel his fears catching up with him. I can feel his trauma. Really rooting for him!
