We have to laurel the music direction. So beautiful and matching the tone. The chemistry between the characters is exceptionally portrayed. Arima and Kaori’s introduction to the story feels surreal. The scene sequences, though, feel cringeworthy with excessive comic elements.

This episode is a beautiful emotional opening. Kosei’s silent, colorless world after his trauma hits hard, but Kaori’s vibrant entrance changes everything. Stunning visuals, expressive characters, and powerful music make this a heartfelt and unforgettable start.

This episode shows a traumatizing event because it shows the glimpse of the past of the main character which is Kosei Arima. But it changes when they show Kaori, the show becomes livelier and more vibrant. I really like the opening music of this anime, it’s so catchy.

We're just starting, and we already got hit by a truckload of feels. The talent showcase and the delivery of dramatic scenes are impressive. The characters are expressive, and the art design amazingly fits the vibe. Overall, an amazing start—great music and sad lore.

This was the episode that started it all for me. It beautifully sets up the character’s early struggles while leaving room for the excitement of what’s to come. I love how music was used to seamlessly weave the story as the characters slowly come together - 10/10!!
