Really cool episode, especially the Angry Bird v Kakeru reference. This episode also has a lot of motivational value during the evo part- I really want to play fighting games now.

Hilarious characters. The anime focuses quite alot on the gameplay and gaming theories itself, might not really understand or relate to if not used to playing fighting games.

Episode Context

Episode 5 resolved the major hurdle of securing permission to attend the Tokyo tournament, particularly around concerns tied to Mio's family. Episode 6 channels that hard-won momentum directly into competitive preparation, using a timely game update to raise immediate stakes and test both girls before the tournament becomes a reality. At the midpoint of a 12-episode season, this episode signals a shift from 'will they compete' to 'are they ready.'
