Episode Context

Coming off Episode 8 ("Again"), which reunited allies and recovered sacred artifacts, Episode 9 marks a hard pivot from outward questing to internal crisis, the team's greatest threat is now operating from within. This episode functions as the season's turning point, where hidden betrayal and escalating pressure converge to set the stage directly for Episode 10 ("Sacrifice"), which brings these internal fractures to a desperate head.
