Yobai Suru Shichinin no Harame

Synopsis
Growing up without a father his entire life, Masaya Kuga feels compelled to travel to a remote island village when he hears the man has finally died, needing to confirm it for himself. What he finds is a quiet, slightly empty place where he ends up staying on as the local doctor. The village women are welcoming, his half-sister Asuka is there, and life is calm enough. Then the dreams start. Night after night, different women come to him while he sleeps, and he begins wondering whether these encounters are just his imagination or something rooted in the village itself. That blend of rural isolation and dreamy mystery gives this 2-episode OVA a distinct atmosphere that sets it apart from straightforward hentai entries. Based on a visual novel by Guilty and adapted by Studio 1st, it leans into character dynamics more than you might expect, giving Masaya actual relationships to navigate rather than just scenarios. If you've seen Yosuga no Sora and appreciated how it wove family drama into its more explicit moments, this hits a similar note. Fans of Amagami SS who wanted something with a stranger, more surreal undercurrent might find it interesting too. It's short, it's niche, and it's not trying to be anything other than what it is — a moody, intimate story wrapped around a mystery that keeps the two episodes moving at a decent pace.
