📖 SYNOPSIS

"Yamiyo no Jidaigeki" is a direct-to-video sequel comprised of two separate narratives. The first, "The Ear of Jinsuke," follows a wandering swordsman as he undertakes a quest to save a damsel in distress from the clutches of malevolent spirits. The second story, "Prints from the Fall of the Bakufu," shifts focus to a tomboyish character working at a woodcut works. She is assigned the task of creating a print of Okita Soji, a young warrior. Both stories, presented in this OVA format, explore themes of heroism, duty, and the artistic representation of historical figures.
