📖 SYNOPSIS
The anime follows Hatsuki, a high school student with romantic feelings for her older sister, Hatsumi. On Hatsumi's sixteenth birthday, a mysterious green light engulfs her, and she vanishes before Hatsuki's eyes. Desperate to find her, Hatsuki is aided by a being that resembles a plump baby chick. This unlikely partnership leads her to "The Great Library," a vast collection of books, each containing a different world. Within this library, Hatsuki begins her quest, traveling from book to book in the hopes of locating her missing sister, Hatsumi. The story centers on Hatsuki's search and the unique worlds she encounters.
