I really enjoyed this series because the situations it portrays are very relatable. These kinds of things don't just happen to young people they can happen anywhere, even in the workplace. I felt a bit unsatisfied with this series because it seemed unfinished

The season finale of Wotakoi has a more typical slice-of-life anime vibe. It has the characters just living life as they usually do. My only complaint is that this is feels like a setup for upcoming season that never came.

The finale keeps things simple and warm, focusing on the group hanging out and enjoying their shared hobbies. A sweet moment between Narumi and Hirotaka shows how their love works because they understand each other’s otaku side.

Normal and expected ending, nothing more. But it's good to watch!

Really grounded romance anime. Able to capture how usual romantic relationship IRL in anime without being overly dramatic or falling into usual trope.

EPISODE CONTEXT

As the eleventh and final episode, this serves as the culmination of everything the season built — the evolving dynamics between Narumi and Hirotaka, the fiery push-and-pull of Hanako and Kabakura, and the group's collective otaku bond. Episode 10 expanded the world by introducing new characters and online gaming elements, and this finale pivots back inward, refocusing on the intimate core cast interactions that defined the series. It closes the season not with a cliffhanger but with a warm, character-driven sendoff that reinforces the show's central thesis: love between otaku is complicated, messy, and completely worth it.
