Episode Context

Sitting just past the halfway mark of this 12-episode season, Episode 7 acts as a decisive turning point, the narrative pivots from the mysteries uncovered in earlier episodes (Hisui's secret in Episode 4, the exploration of time's passage in Episode 5) toward direct, present-tense confrontation. Chronosto's emergence transforms the season's central conflict from investigative to combative. This episode lays essential groundwork for Episode 8's deeper exploration of Kotoha and Hisui's relationship, suggesting the fallout here will be personal as much as physical.
