Episode Context

Following Episode 2's return to the Magic World, Episode 3 marks the first major tonal pivot of the 12-episode season, introducing a threatening vision that escalates the conflict around Ire and raises the personal stakes for Mirai and Riko. Sitting at the quarter-mark, this episode functions as a narrative bridge, transitioning from reunion and reestablishment into the central mystery driving the season. It lays critical groundwork for the intensifying confrontations and emotional trials that will define the middle stretch of the series.
