Episode Context

As the first episode of a compact 12-episode season, this premiere carries the full weight of reintroduction, re-establishing Mirai's world, her current status quo, and the emotional groundwork for reunions teased by the series title itself. It bridges the gap from the original Mahoutsukai Precure's bittersweet conclusion to a new chapter where past bonds are clearly set to resurface. Everything here is foundational, positioning the remaining eleven episodes to escalate from this carefully laid starting point.
