A great finale! It starts lightly with the group's festival preparations and funny moments from Kanshi and Keigo, before rapidly shifting into chaotic action following a surprising threat. The chase and run sequences are solid and fulfilling. An enjoyable finale overall!

And that's a wrap. I don't think this was a strong episode for a finale considering what we've seen before. But it was still a pleasant ending. It's a quality show that was done really well. Solid animation, gags, characters, music and audio. I will definitely miss this show.

The transition from the previous episode to this one feels great. No rom-com anime is complete without a cultural festival episode. This one also indulges in the idea. All characters contributed their parts. And the season’s ending suits the overall temperament of the anime.

Episode Context

As episode 25 of 25, this finale caps the School Festival Arc that began building in the preceding episodes, following directly from Episode 24's exploration of character relationships and personal quirks. Rather than delivering a high-stakes conclusion, it serves as a warm culmination of the season's character dynamics and comedic identity. The episode also functions as a bridge, setting the stage for character developments and festivities intended to carry into a potential subsequent season.
