This episode shows the academy shift into festival mode , but the tension is still building under the surface. Will trying to find a team when nobody wants the magicless guy is painful to watch. Something huge about to happen in the upcoming episodes, let's see.

Capitulo de transición, mucho contexto y mucha emoción!!, tenemos un antagonista y mucha tensión, genial, vamos a ver que ocurre más a adelante.

I find this episode tad bit slow since it lacks a battle action, since the episode focusing on dialogue, though its a great character development for itsside cast and its a great setup for the festival arc. You might find this episode boring but it's build up for the next episode

WATCH IT, This is the setup for the tournament arc episode, also this episode is about STANDING UP FOR THE POWERLESS. The animation takes a noticeable dip, but the story actually gets a little more interesting this ep.

The closer a character the more detailed it is conversely the more further the character it becomes less detailed. I don't know if this is intentional by the studio but it bothers me since ep1. Even when he snaps Will is still a softie, he can take out Mr. Flamboyant pants before he can cast his spell just like his two cronies but chose not to and this just makes me feel frustrated 😡

The perfect bridge. It raises the stakes for the upcoming tournament while grounding the story in Will’s personal struggle. It’s appealing because it shows that Will’s "sword" isn't just a weapon—it’s his ticket to a world that wants to keep him out.

This episode leans more into explanations, expanding the system and rules. Best part is the added depth to the world. Pacing dips again and some scenes feel stretched. Still useful, but not the most engaging. Feels like a setup episode 🤔
