Why is the Sea Water Salty?

📖 SYNOPSIS

In a village, a generous man's act of kindness towards an elderly individual from the forest's little people is rewarded with a "Mortar of Treasures." This magical item grants any item the user desires, allowing the man to amass great wealth. His envious brother, consumed by greed, steals the mortar, seeking to enjoy the riches alone. He sets sail in a rowing boat for an isolated island, intending to live a life of luxury. During his journey, he commands the mortar to produce salt. However, he is unable to stop the mortar's continuous production. The boat, overwhelmed by the accumulating salt, sinks, taking the mortar to the ocean floor, where it continues to pour out salt, explaining the sea's salinity. The story explores themes of greed, generosity, and the consequences of unchecked desire.
