Episode Context

Coming directly off 'Chapter of Confession' and its revelations, episode 9 takes the fallout and drives a wedge between Rita and Tina at a structurally pivotal moment, deep enough into the season for the discord to sting, early enough for consequences to ripple forward. This sets the table directly for episode 10, 'Chapter of Bonding,' where the aftermath of this separation plays out. With only four episodes remaining, this chapter functions as the emotional low point that the final act will need to resolve.
