Episode Context

Sitting just before the halfway mark of this 12-episode run, Episode 5 lands in the sweet spot where character introductions are largely complete and the show can start deepening relationships and raising personal stakes. Previous episodes established the restaurant's premise and core cast of outcasts finding belonging through food, and this installment appears to push those bonds into more emotionally charged territory. From here, the back half of the season will likely build on whatever dynamics shift in this episode as the story moves toward its larger narrative payoffs.
