Episode Context

As episode one of twelve, this is pure foundation work, establishing Dennis's motivations, his culinary passion, and his first meaningful connection in Atelier. It sets the template for what appears to be an episodic structure built around Dennis welcoming various outcasts and misfits into his restaurant. Everything introduced here, the fantasy setting, the cooking focus, the theme of second chances, will serve as the throughline for the full season ahead.
