EPISODE CONTEXT
Sitting just past the quarter mark of the 24-episode run, 'Welcome to the Moratorium!' follows Episode 6's attempt at confronting the outside world and deals with the fallout — Satou's retreat back into isolation after his panic attack. This episode functions as a pressure cooker, escalating Satou's web of self-deception before Episode 8's 'Welcome to China Town!' introduces external stakes with his mother's visit, forcing his internal crisis into the open.
