EPISODE CONTEXT
Coming off episode 22's fallout — where Satou's entanglement with Hitomi sent Misaki spiraling — this episode reckons directly with the damage done to the central relationship that has anchored the entire series. As the second-to-last episode, it functions as the emotional thesis statement before the finale, forcing Satou and Misaki into a reckoning that the show has been building toward for twenty-two episodes.
