Synopsis
The world of psychology is far from strange to the unusual Dr. Ichirou Irabu, a resident psychiatrist of Irabu General Hospital. He and his charming nurse Mayumi run through several patients, each suffering from a mental illness that harms their everyday life. Patients should be wary of the seductive Mayumi, with her spellbinding looks and devilishly short pink nurse uniform. On the other hand, the doctor seems to have three separate personalities: a child with an oversized lab coat; an intelligent, youthful man with feminine traits; and a selfish, outgoing green bear. While curing his patients in questionable ways, Dr. Irabu often tries to gain something from them outside of his profession—and in doing so, occasionally forgets his role as a doctor. As each patient struggles to face the nature of their distress, an obvious yet invisible thread ties their paths together.

Amazing central metaphor for this episode holy. This one is especially surreal and kind of different from the rest. I don't really have much else to say this anime was just so good man.
that makes 3 HIPPA violations T^T. Anyways I really liked the use of irl footage as backgrounds in this episode in particular really adds to how surreal this anime feels. Also the reveal near the end?? absolute cinema. Probably my favorite episode.
Hiromi being represented by a seal (an animal often trained to do tricks for shows) is so good. I really like this episode in particular. While it happens in the same time as the other ones, it's less intertwined interestingly enough.
Another familiar face for a patient. It's the reporter we see in both the author's and baseball player's episodes. Surprisingly he knows what disorder he has before meeting Irabu. Also another HIPPA violation.
Ironic that the yakuza guy is scared of pointy objects. And now we have some context for scene with him and the patient from episode 1 and we get to see more of what happened then. This episode is one of the funnier ones imo. Also Irabu breaks HIPPA this episode lol.
Wait that's the coffee incident from episode 2 but from a different perspective... I rlly like how some of the patients are somewhat interconnected. Also yea those are not ur friends Yuta they're just using you my guy. Pretty relevant episode tbh.
Yea idk abt this treatment method... Still an entertaining episode tho. Him blaming that lady for his fart was nasty work
4 for 4. For some reason his head turning into his animal was way funnier than the past ones. Also hey wait the guy with the goggles was in a past episode.
3 for 3 on great episodes. This episodes patient, Toshiyama. suffers from OCD. ngl it's a pretty accurate depiction
Poor Tetsuya, I didn't even know that his condition is something that actually exists, thats rough buddy. He look crazy walking around arched up like that T^T.
The episode was quite good, the story had an unexpected twist, the dimensional change in the characters is magnificent, the use of colors is excellent, it's a pretty good series, it surprised me since I didn't know it.
It had a different feel to the other episodes, however, it was still good, the small changes in the soundtrack and the play of light and shadow were also good.
The way they portray the episode's problem is excellent, and the way Hiromi clings to her past image is great, although I thought that at some point the garish colors were going to bother me, but that hasn't happened at all.
Although this episode focuses on a disorder, it could easily be applied to everyday life, showing how people sometimes focus on unimportant things and fail to see what is truly valuable. The way they present it is very good, and the animal they compare it to is fitting.
