Episode Context

Season 2 finds its footing early with an episode that shifts focus to Ameri Azazel and the weight of leadership. The tone strikes that signature Iruma-kun balance, genuinely funny character beats layered over surprisingly earnest moments of self-reflection. Expect a slower, more character-driven pace compared to a typical action-forward episode. Iruma gets pulled deeper into student council dynamics, and the comedy lands best when his fish-out-of-water instincts collide with demon school politics. Ameri's arc here carries real emotional texture, exploring what it means to step up when expectations are high. The episode rewards fans who appreciate the show's ability to develop its cast without sacrificing its lighthearted energy. A solid setup episode that invests in relationships over spectacle, and it's better for it.
