This episode felt like the ultimate emotional rollercoaster, from Yano’s cold distance to that huge payoff at the festival. I was getting frustrated for Nanami, so seeing the class play actually work out felt rewarding. The animation still looks like a PowerPoint, but that festival tradition moment really landed.

The ending was heart-fluttering, but it somehow had an unsettling feel to it. The mellow soundtrack brings the impact of the cringe moment and builds emotions. The pacing was a slow burn and wiredrawn. There were comedic acts, but the emotional tension overlapped and prevailed.

Aaahh yano gila keren bangett. Kenapa aku bisa seneng banget sama kisah cinta anak-anak sma kek gini wkwk. Masa lalu yano yang terlihat kelam memang tidak baik untuknya, tapi nanami yang tulus harusnya bisa untuk menolongnya. Kata-kata yang diucapkan yano selalu ambigu dan membuatku banyak berpikir apa yang dia maksud sebenarnya.
