I found the contrast in this finale absolutely heartbreaking yet beautiful. While Yano tried to overcompensate with grand gestures before his Tokyo move, Nanami’s desire for just a "normal" day felt so much more profound. It’s a bittersweet conclusion that captures the ache of young love facing a literal distance. If you're into drama story and wouldn't mind the visuals, you can watch this.

Huwaaaa ternyata meskipun episode-episode sebelumnya bikin kesel tapi kalau udah berakhir gini animenya malah tambah kesel. Sedih banget harus ngelihat mereka di episode ini. Aku bakal galau berhari-hari deh keknya wkw. Anime ini bener-bener rekomendasi banget buat orang yang suka romance tapi rasanya nano-nano wkw.

After rewatching this again, my heart aches. Literally cried a ton! The ending was unsatisfying; with that emotional scene, you can't conclude that it's the end. So, after watching this, I recommend reading the manga. Far from the pain of watching, the manga will torment you more and will reveal shocking plot twists. But the series itself was an emotional rollercoaster ride. Highly recommended if you're into heavy drama. The OSTs carried the emotions in this series phenomenally! (NO S2 AFTER 2 DECADES)

Ep 26 is SO intense you’ll be on edge the whole time 😭 After all the buildup, the emotional weight finally comes to a head in a way that’s both draining and cathartic. That final scene hits hard - you can see how much the characters have been carrying, and the scars are still right there under the surface.

It’s peak romance tension with all the raw, messy feelings you expect from Bokura Ga Ita.

One of my most tear jerking moments. I don't know why but there's something about separation that makes the waterworks just come rushing down. Especial since it show scenes about their relationship together. It's a really good watch if your looking for good romance.

EPISODE CONTEXT

As the 26th and final episode, this follows directly from the seismic shift in Episode 25 where Yano's decision to relocate to Tokyo with his mother sets the stage for an unavoidable separation from Nanami. The entire series has traced the fragile, complicated arc of their relationship — from tentative beginnings through jealousy, grief, and hard-won trust — and this finale serves as the emotional culmination of that journey, asking whether love built through 25 episodes of struggle can endure life's most practical realities.
