A very sweet and endearing episode about Yamada and her hidden backstory. They portrayed it in a light comedy but in truth it's so deeply layered about how everyone in the restaurant actually have their space and purpose. Making them a family without blood bond. And yet they care deeply about one another. For instance, even though Soma is always nonchalant about Yamada, he actually cares deeply for her safety. The ending was a real cliffhanger, can't wait to watch the next one!
This episode, spotlight shifts onto the series resident runaway kid, Yamada Aoi, and it gives me an funny, and oddly touching look at what family actually means to these weirdos. It takes the mystery of Yamada’s past, and lands it with a surprisingly sweet message about belonging. It balances the comedy of the Yamada siblings with the comfort of the restaurant crew, leaving me lentertain while secretly rooting for her fake daughter to finally find her way.
Dynamic karakter makin seru disini, komedinya juga dapet banget. Animasi selalu support dan sesuai dengan momen yang terjadi. Hmm. disini Takanashi masih overthinking dan belum sadar sama perasaannya. Ada momen ketika Satou menjadi chibi itu gemesin banget 😆 Dan akhirnyaa momen Yamada yang kita tunggu datang juga.
