Episode Context

Arriving three episodes after the seismic revelation of Dr. Kentaro Goh's true Boazanian heritage in episode 28, this episode channels the emotional fallout into a story about sacrifice and the price of command, deepening the stakes for the team's war against the Boazanian invasion. At episode 31 of 40, the series is firmly in its endgame buildup, and losses here carry permanent narrative weight. This episode sets the stage for the Voltes Team to steel themselves for the increasingly desperate conflicts that define the final stretch toward Earth's liberation.
